The Medulin Riviera is the perfect destination not only for summer holidays but for other seasons as well, because here in the south of Istria there are more than 2,300 hours of sunshine a year. The Mediterranean climate prevails on the Medulin Riviera, with mild winters and warm summers. The average annual temperature is slightly higher than 13 degrees Celsius. For example, in February the average temperature is around 6 degrees, and in summer in July and August the average temperature is around 27 degrees. And the temperature of the sea is often very pleasant, the lowest average temperature is around 7, and in summer it reaches up to 27 degrees. The swimming season on the Medulin Riviera begins in May and usually ends in late September or early October.
